Lovely lighting, but I feel like the area of focus is too far back in the frame, as those buttons are small compared to those in the front, and my eye is trying to read the text on the bigger buttons, and then it's blurred. But a great closeup and I love the colours. Good job.
The lighting is good Nick, natural light is always a good tool. Try different angles on your subject, perhaps straighter down might have been best for this remote. The blurry background is great, as it takes the eye straight to the colours in the pic.
Remote controls are fun to photograph because you can do all sorts of angles. We have loads of remote controls at home but they're all black or silver. None of them have coloured buttons like yours and certainly none with happy and sad faces!! Are they the on and off switches???
You pictures are getting better day by day. I think a plainer background would have worked a little better for this image, but it's still good stuff. -mrnelson

ResponderEliminarWhile I agree with kimbomac regarding "auto sound" being blurry, I like the sharp focus on the colored buttons.
ResponderEliminarHave your pets been chewing on your remote? I love that I can see the deterioration in the small red buttons
ResponderEliminarNice colors :D I've never seen a remote with smilies and frowns...what are they for? lol
ResponderEliminarPets? I don't have pets. The red buttons are the family's favorites. We use them often.
ResponderEliminarAnd the smiles and frowns are for favorites, two or three for each color.
:D

ResponderEliminarReally, this is other great shot from you. Congrats!
At first glance I thought this was a toy remote for a game! How fun to have a remote that looks like that! Bet you don't lose it that easily.
