Nice bit of clothing detail. Did you have your lens hood on when you used the flash? There is a bit of shadow down on the bottom edge of the frame that makes me think that. Either that, or you are a little close for flash use. Love that stitching and lettering.
And a very nice shoe it is. I wonder what sort of shot you would have got if you'd taken the photo looking into the shoe.
