  1. Your lighting is a bit harsh but the focus on the watch is very good

  2. Good focussing! I think I would have preferred to see an actual time on the watch - it would make it appear more natural - but that's just me!!

  3. It's a good photo and your work is definitely improving. I think this would work a little bit better if you could get good even light on the watch with no reflections. But it's a good effort.

  7. As others have said, the objects in your images are really improving, but any of these would look better without the background distraction.

You can just take a piece of paper and set your object on it. If the item in the photo is small enough, like the watch, you can just bend the end of the paper and lean it against a book or a small box. That will give you a nice smooth plain background.

If you have not read Meerkat's studio lighting article in the Shutter tactic's forum - read it. I got lots of good ideas there.

Good luck - I am looking forward to seeing your future shots.

  8. This picture, like all others are rgat examples of things to shoot in close up or macro. The light is really a great mistry and need some experiences and some attempts to have the perfect photo. You are in the right way!
[I love the advice from Kook. Meerkat´s article is one of the best place to learn about lightnings!]
